Professional Boundaries for
Housing Associations

We’ve worked with a number of organisations that support and run housing estates. Getting the balance right for staff who are often working and living in the same communities (or even on the same estates) as their residents can be tricky.

The discussions are often lively as we look at how it’s possible to support people from a wide range of backgrounds, from vulnerable and elderly residents though to those who feel entitled to the time and space of the employee, even when they’re not working.

Housing Estate Officers, Caretakers/Porters and the staff that support them on the phone lines and in the back office have all attended my professional boundaries training for housing associations.
